Med dette kurset vil du kunne gjøre stor fremgang i engelsk. Selv om mange kursdeltakere føler seg trygg på engelsk før dette kurset, føler de fortsatt at de ikke behersker språket helt og at de dermed gjør en del feil. På dette kurset vil du få trening i avansert engelsk grammatikk, vokabular og uttale. I løpet av kursperioden vil du få økt selvtillit og evne samt bedre flyt i språket.

Mål og målsettinger

Etter å ha gjennomført kurset, vil du:

• Ha god kjennskap til alle engelske tempusformer;
• Bruke verbfraser, prefikser, suffikser og mengdeord;
• Være i stand til å fortelle om en hendelse eller erfaring med god flyt, og tydelig uttrykke dine meninger.

 

Kursbeskrivelse

Med dette kurset hever du ditt språknivå fra et mellomnivå til høyere mellomnivå. På kurset vil vi, til å begynne med, repetere tempus og verbformer slik at du er bedre rustet til å gå løs på nye grammatiske elementer senere i kursperioden. Vi kommer blant annet til å se på og sammenligne fortidsformene preteritum og presens perfektum.

Kurset hjelper deg  å utvide ditt vokabular ved hjelp av øvelser i bruk av mengdeord, prefikser, suffikser og verbfraser. Kurset legger til rette for at du får så mye snakketrening som mulig i timen. I begynnelsen av hver time varmer vi opp med spill/lek. Det vil bli gitt hjemmeoppgaver i relevant grammatikk, vokabular og uttale.

 

Metode og vurderingsformer

For å heve ditt språknivå, vil du få mange samtaleoppgaver, korte forelesninger i engelsk uttale for nordmenn og uttrykke deg muntlig i plenumsdiskusjoner. Kurset følger et vel utformet og utfyllende læreverk med en fastsatt progresjon, men din progresjon vil likevel bli vurdert underveis i kurset.

Ved kursstart vil vi fokusere på å revidere tidligere tilegnet grammatikk, mens vi senere i kursperioden vil fokusere på spesifikke grammatiske elementer. Samtlige kursdeltakere vil få tilbakemelding på deres personlige fremgang kontinuerlig i løpet av kursperioden.
