C1 English course Advanced – Reach for the Sky

Med dette kurset når du nye høyder i din språkutvikling. Du vil få god flyt i språket og føle at du behersker det i løpet av kursperioden. Vi vil ta for oss avanserte språkformer slik som hypotetiske og vage uttrykk, samt avansert grammatikk og vokabular.

Mål og målsettinger

Etter å ha gjennomført kurset, vil du:

• Kunne kommunisere på en presis måte ved hjelp av hverdagslig språkbruk;
• Kunne bruke et avansert vokabular og grammatikk med selvtillit;
• Kunne uttrykk deg selv med selvsikkerhet;
• Beherske språket.

 

Kursbeskrivelse

Med dette kurset vil du endelig beherske engelsk på et nært morsmålsnivå. Kursdeltakere på dette nivået kan allerede en god del engelsk. Derfor er hensikten med kurset å få deg til å bruke allerede  innlært vokabular samt utvide ditt vokabular og heve grammatikknivået. Du vil få trening i å forstå og henge med i lengre tekster og samtaler.

Videre vil du også få trening i å uttrykke deg spontant, gi synspunkter og argumentere for dem. Kurset hjelper deg å utvide ditt vokabular ved hjelp av øvelser i bruk av mengdeord, prefikser, suffikser og verbfraser. Kurset legger til rette for at du får så mye snakketrening som mulig i timen. I begynnelsen av hver time varmer vi opp med spill/lek. Du vil få hjemmearbeid i relevant grammatikk og vokabular og uttale.

 

Metode og vurderingsformer

For å heve ditt språknivå vil du kurset bestå i mange samtaleoppgaver, korte forelesninger i engelsk uttale for nordmenn og plenumsdiskusjoner. Kurset følger et vel utformet og utfyllende læreverk med en fastsatt progresjon, men din progresjon vil også bli vurdert underveis i kurset.

Ved kursstart vil vi fokusere på å revidere tidligere tilegnet grammatikk, mens vi senere i kursperioden vil fokusere på spesifikke grammatiske elementer. Samtlige kursdeltakere vil få tilbakemelding på deres personlige fremgang kontinuerlig i løpet av kursperioden.
